On the 23rd of February 2026 we gave a presentation about the charity to the 62nd Fife Scotland Scouts at Crossford, near Dunfermline. Eric gave an interactive presentation to the 8–11-year-old cubs.
The Scout group said they will try and raise a little money for Sunrise Africa Relief as a project for the cubs which goes towards one of their badges. One of the leaders said she will also organize her craft group to do some knitting for the children in Zambia.
It was a very interesting evening, and we believe the cubs could learn a lot about Africa and in particular where the charity currently has a number of projects – especially the building of a community center in one of the rural villages and the building of a maternity annex near Sandwe village.
We were also surprised at the cub’s knowledge of Africa when it came to questions. We thank the Scouts group for the invitation to present Sunrise Africa Relief charity and to inform the local community of the charity.
